As of July 14, Yulia Svyrydenko has reportedly not agreed to become Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States after leaving the government, according to Ukrainska Pravda sources within the president’s team.
One source characterized her reaction as a complete rejection, saying that she had essentially told those making the proposal to “get lost.”
Sources close to Svyrydenko, however, say she is still considering what to do after her time in the Cabinet. There has been no official confirmation that she has definitively rejected the diplomatic post.
