Police detained a 39-year-old man from Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi region at a bus station in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district after an alleged fragmentation hand grenade was discovered in his bag.
According to police, the man was attempting to board a bus while carrying the munition. The grenade was seized and the man was served a notice of suspicion. He could face up to seven years in prison.
