Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has called for a public discussion on whether military service obligations should be expanded to women, citing the experience of several other countries. He stressed that he was not proposing sending all women to the battlefield.
Ukrainian MP Danylo Hetmantsev responded sharply, suggesting that supporters of such proposals should record their comments “from the trenches, not comfortable studios.”
