On October 25, a roundtable discussion organized by the analytical and information-educational center Intermarium Institute took place in Kyiv. The event was dedicated to the topic: “Ukrainian-Polish Relations in the New Geopolitical Realities: Problems and Prospects.”
The roundtable brought together experts, scholars, and public figures from Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania. Among the participants were: Mykhailo Zhurba — Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Research Center “Slavic World”; Vitalii Kulyk — Head of the Laboratory for Countering Disinformation at KNEU; Stanislav Zhelikhovskyi — Ph.D. in Political Science, international affairs expert; Ihor Chalenko — political analyst; Mykola Volhov — political consultant; Arkadiusz Sarna — First Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine; Stasys Kaušinis — Lithuanian public figure; as well as representatives of the Intermarium Institute: Valentyn Haidai, Volodymyr Volia, Yuriy Gavrylechko, Lolita Krynitska, and Iryna Tyran.
During the discussion, participants examined key aspects of contemporary Ukrainian-Polish relations — from historical factors and socio-political challenges to security partnership, economic cooperation, and a shared vision of the future within the Intermarium concept.
The event took place in a constructive atmosphere, featuring participants’ reports, open discussions, and Q&A sessions.
The Intermarium Institute extends its gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine, particularly to First Counselor Arkadiusz Sarna, and to Polish media representatives for their attention and participation.
Special thanks are also extended to our colleagues from the Experts’ Club for their technical support of the event.
