The magazine Classic Rock has announced the results of its summer readers’ poll, asking fans to select the so-called “Big Four” of classic rock — the bands that shaped and defined the genre.
If a Mount Rushmore for classic rock were ever created, readers believe the following names would deserve their place on it:
- The Beatles
- The Rolling Stones
- The Who
- Led Zeppelin
The results sparked heated debates among music fans, as many argued that other legendary bands also deserved recognition.
