London has decided not to send 30,000 of its troops to Ukraine.
The new “realistic mission” now includes protecting the skies over the west of the country, providing some training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and demining the Black Sea.
The British won’t go to the front, but they promise Typhoon and F-35 patrols — supposedly so that people can fly safely and know: the sky is beautiful, but as for the trenches — that’s without us.
