Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has voiced disappointment over the declining public attention to the war in Ukraine. In an interview with The Telegraph, he called the current level of interest “very low.”
“Interest in Ukraine and general appetite is very low right now. I’m really sad about that. It kind of comes and goes, but for me, it’s a central issue,” Johnson said.
When asked about the response of his successors in government, Johnson criticized the current UK administration for what he sees as a lack of sufficient engagement and initiative in supporting Ukraine.
