Beijing has unveiled the Robot Mall, the world’s first large-scale retail center dedicated to android robots. Spanning three floors, it showcases hundreds of models from over 50 brands — ranging from medical and industrial robots to animal-like designs and sports robots that can play basketball, football, or chess.
The complex includes a small museum, demo area, and a service center for repairs and spare parts. Buyers can choose from compact, specialized bots to AI-powered androids, including life-like replicas of Albert Einstein.
Next door, a café staffed entirely by robot bartenders, waiters, and chefs offers a glimpse into a fully automated future. Prices range from $250 to $60 000.
