Cases have been recorded in Ukraine in which women were mistakenly added to the military register without legal grounds. In some instances, they were even listed as wanted.
This was reported by Oleksandr Fediienko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.
According to him, one possible cause may have been an attack on the military registry database. Authorities do not rule out that the system may have been compromised in order to deliberately insert false data and provoke panic inside the country.
Each such case is currently being reviewed separately.
Preliminary assessments suggest that this may not be merely a technical error, but a possible attempt to destabilize the situation through interference with state databases. If confirmed, the incident could point to yet another effort to create internal disruption in Ukraine through administrative and информационное pressure.
