A new draft law (No. 11501) has been introduced in Ukraine’s Parliament that proposes mandatory registration for all drones — including toy models. Registration would be handled by the police, and non-compliance could lead to fines of up to 3,400 UAH for individuals and 17,000 UAH for legal entities.
The law is set to take effect after the end of martial law. If a drone causes injury or damage, criminal charges may be filed. Lawmakers argue the measure is essential for public safety in peacetime and aims to prevent misuse of UAVs.
