A unique scientific tasting of watermelons took place at Uman National University of Horticulture as part of an academic study. The event was organized by the Department of Vegetable Growing and aimed to evaluate different hybrid varieties.
Both seeded and seedless watermelons were tested. Experts assessed taste, juiciness, aroma, and appearance. The collected data will be used to improve breeding programs and enhance cultivation quality in future seasons.
This initiative highlights how agricultural science can contribute to food quality and crop development in Ukraine.
