Iconic German twin sisters Alice and Ellen Kessler passed away on November 17 in their home in Grünwald, near Munich. According to Bild, their death was a deliberate, voluntary decision — police confirmed no third party was involved.
A representative from the German Society for Humane Dying (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Humanes Sterben) said the sisters themselves chose that date to end their lives.
Back in April 2024, the twins expressed a wish to be cremated and laid to rest in the same urn alongside their mother Elsa’s ashes and their dog Yello.
