In June 2025, the Ukrainian government spent over 64 million hryvnias to pay the salaries of 502 heads of central authorities. This was reported by MP Nina Yuzhanina.
According to her, each of these officials received an average of about 128,000 UAH — almost six times higher than the country’s average wage.
The top 5 institutions with the highest average executive salaries were:
▪️ National Agency for Corruption Prevention — 245,600 UAH;
▪️ Central Election Commission — 206,400 UAH;
▪️ Accounting Chamber — 202,900 UAH;
▪️ State Space Agency — 193,200 UAH;
▪️ National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission — 191,000 UAH.
“These figures are outrageous, especially amid the country’s current financial situation,” Yuzhanina stated.
