A conflict involving a Bolt driver and Ukrainian passengers has been reported in Milan. According to one of the passengers, the driver began insulting the women after hearing them speak Ukrainian.
Passenger Anna Daniliuk described the incident in a Threads post and published a short video showing part of the confrontation.
Daniliuk said the driver initially addressed the passengers in Russian. The women replied in Ukrainian and did not continue speaking with the driver, although they continued their own conversation in Ukrainian during the ride.
The dispute allegedly began at the end of the trip. According to Daniliuk, one of the passengers thanked the driver in Ukrainian, after which the driver used profanities, offensive language and obscene gestures.
Anti-Ukrainian remarks can be heard in the published video. However, the recording shows only part of the confrontation, and the full circumstances have not yet been independently established.
The passengers contacted Bolt’s customer support service. The company responded to the social media post, requested information about the ride and said the case would be investigated.
The driver’s citizenship and national background have not been officially confirmed. Available reports establish only that she communicated in Russian during the ride.
