Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim said that the main goal of his participation in the Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul was to attract advanced Korean technologies for Ukraine’s recovery.
According to him, the visit had a governmental business focus and was aimed at presenting Ukraine as a platform for investment, technology and future cooperation.
During the conference, meetings were held with the leadership of more than 15 major companies. The parties discussed cooperation in energy, education, workforce training, data exchange, shipbuilding and other areas.
Special attention was paid to the “South 2.0” program, which focuses on the technological industrialization of southern Ukraine using South Korea’s experience. Kim also emphasized the importance of student and professor exchanges, as well as training specialists for post-war reconstruction.
